Install the check valve (only
for exhaust air operation)

Stifte
1. Place the two halves of the check
valve (4) into the opening on the top of
the Exhaust hood (1).
Make sure that the pins on the valve are
facing outwards.
Place the drill holes
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!

If the mains plug is no longer acces-
sible after installation, an all-pole dis-
connecting device complying with
overvoltage category III must be
connected to the house wiring with a
contact gap of at least 3 mm; this in-
cludes fuses, circuit breakers and con-
tactors.

Improper installation of the appliance
can lead to injury.

Before drilling the holes, ensure that
no wires or cables (power, gas, water
etc.) will be damaged (check with a
line locator).
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
■
The distance between the cooking
surfaces and the lower edge of the
hood must be at least 65 cm for gas
stoves.
■
For gas stovetops, you must read the
user manual for the stovetop! If the
manual stipulates a larger distance,
this must be observed.
To ensure Chimney hood maximum
performance, it must be positioned
above the centre of the cooking zone.
