Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not nec-
essarily mean there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please
check the tables to see if you can correct the malfunction.

Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appli-
ance yourself. You can put your own and future users’ lives in
danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out
this repair work.

working.

Press the safety switch (1)
and then the power button (2).
The cutting
blades are
jammed.
You are trying to
blend too much
food.
Reduce the amount of food.

Pull the mains plug out of the
socket and then free the cut-
ting blades from the food.
Heat, smoke
and an unusu-
al smell occur
while blending.
You are trying to
blend too much
food.
Reduce the amount of food.
You are using
the hand blender
longer than the
permitted period of
one minute.
Reduce the time to a maxi-
mum of one minute and then
let the hand blender cool down
for at least two minutes.
The food you are
blending is too
hot.
Make sure that the food is not
hotter than 60°C.
