1. Press either the On/Off
switch (2) on the appliance’s
handle (1) or the On/Off
switch (6) on the handheld
unit (27) to turn on the appli-
ance.
The appliance will start running
on the “high” suction level.
2. To vacuum, push and pull the
floor nozzle across the surface
you are cleaning. Rotate the
appliance slightly to reach
corners more effectively. This
positions the floor nozzle diag-
onally.
In rare cases this can make a
whistling noise initially. This
is not a malfunction and
stops after a while.

The appliance is equipped with
two suction levels. Set the suc-
tion level using the suction level
switch (3) on the handle (1).
1. Switch on the appliance by
pressing the On/Off switch (2)
on the appliance’s handle (1)
or the On/Off switch (6) on the
handheld unit (27).
2. Press the suction level
switch (3)
– once to switch from suction
level “high” to suction level
“low”;
– once more to switch from
suction level “low” back to
level “high”.
