Observe the plus (+) and
minus (−) marks on the cell,
battery and equipment and
ensure correct use.

Before disposing of these
batteries, tape off the poles
to prevent an external short
circuit.

Do not use any cell or bat-
tery which is not designed
for use with the equipment.

Use the cell or battery only
in the application for which
it was intended.
■
Do not mix cells of different
manufacture, capacity, size
or type within a device.
■
Always purchase the bat-
tery recommended by the
device manufacturer for
the equipment.

When possible, remove the
battery from the equip-
ment when not in use.

Before disposing of the ap-
pliance, remove and sepa-
rately dispose of single-use
and rechargeable batteries
that are not permanent-
ly built into the appliance,
in accordance with regula-
tions.

Only dispose of single-use
and rechargeable batteries
in a discharged state!

If possible, use rechargea-
ble batteries instead of dis-
posable batteries.
