Our contribution to protecting the ozone
layer
100% CFC and HFC-free refrigerants and foaming agents
have been used in this appliance. This protects the ozone
layer and reduces the greenhouse eff ect.
Saving energy also protects against excessive global warm-
ing. Your new appliance uses little energy due to its environ-
mentally friendly insulation and technology.
Packaging tips
Our packaging is made of environmentally-friendly, recyclable ma-
terials: exterior packaging made from cardboard, moulded parts
made from foamed, CFC-free polystyrene (PS), films and polyeth-
ylene (PE) bags and tensioning straps made from polypropylene
(PP).
If you have sufficient space, we recommend keeping the pack-
aging, at least during the warranty period. If the appliance needs
to be sent out for repairs, only the original packaging will provide
sufficient protection.
If you would like to dispose of the packaging, please dispose of it
in an environmentally friendly way.
Disposal of the appliance
Old devices must not be disposed of with household waste!
If the appliance can no longer be used,
every user is required by
law to dispose of old appliances separately from their household
waste, e.g. at a collection point in their community/borough. Waste
electrical equipment is accepted free-of-charge there. This ensures
that old devices are recycled in a professional manner and also
rules out negative consequences for the environment.
For this reason, electrical equipment is marked with the symbol
shown here.
