Setting the temperature
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The refrigerator may not work properly if it is exposed
to temperatures that are colder than the lower limit
of the temperature range for which it is designed for
longer periods.
• Note the temperature range for which the refrigera-
tor is designed.
• If necessary, place insulating plates.
• If necessary, adjust the temperature using the tem-
perature controller.
Using the temperature controller
1
, you can set the temperature in
the refrigerator. The cooling power is variable adjustable from ‘0’
to ‘7’. ‘7’ is the lowest temperature.
The ideal temperature for the refrigerator is +6 °C. The refrigerator
is designed for an ambient temperature between 16 °C and 38 °C.
The power consumption and the temperature in the refrigerator
can increase
• if the ambient temperature fluctuates above or below the pre-
scribed level,
• if the refrigerator door is opened frequently or for a prolonged
period.
How to set the temperature:
• Set the temperature controller
1
to a medium setting of be-
tween ‘3’ and ‘4’. This setting is sufficient for normal ambient
temperatures if you do not open the refrigerator door for long
and always close it properly.
– To set a higher temperature turn the thermostat to-
wards
1
‘0’.
– To set a lower temperature turn the thermostat towards
1
‘7’.
• Should the ambient temperature change, adjust the tempera-
ture in the refrigerator (e.g. in summer towards ‘7’).
