standard. The amount of refrigerant
contained in your appliance can be
found on the data sheet (see ‘Techni-
cal specifi cations’ on page EN-30).

Refrigerant is fl ammable when spurt-
ing out and can damage the eyes. In
this case, rinse your eyes in clean wa-
ter and seek medical assistance im-
mediately.

must have a minimum size of 1 m³ per 8 g
of refrigerant in compliance with the EN 378
standard. The amount of refrigerant con-
tained in your appliance can be found on the
data sheet at the end of this user manual.
The minimum size of the area in which your
appliance is set up is as follows: 5.25 m³.
The appliance must only be placed on a level
and firm surface. The surface must be strong
enough to support the appliance’s weight
when fully laden.
Suitable locations are dry, well-ventilated ar-
eas that are cool if possible.
Unsuitable locations are ones with direct sun-
light or which are directly next to an oven, hob
or radiator.
If underfloor heating is installed at the set-up
location, place the cooling appliance on an
insulation plate made from solid material.

Climate category means that the appliance is intended for operation at the specified ambient

Tropical zone
T
This refrigerator is designed for use at ambient temper-
atures of +16 °C to +43 °C.
If the room temperature drops significantly below this, the unit will not switch on as often. This
indicates that an unwelcome increase in temperature may occur.
