Switching off
• To switch the appliance off, pull out the
mains plug.
Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.

Always adhere to the prescribed am-
bient temperature (see data sheet at
the end of this user manual).
Using the “Set” button (14), you can set the
temperature in the fridge compartment.
• First select a medium setting (e.g. 6 °C).
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly (e.g. 4°C).

Using the temperature controller (9), you can
set the temperature in the freezer compart-
ment. To set
– to a lower temperature, turn the tempera-
ture controller clockwise.
– to a higher temperature, turn the tempera-
ture controller counterclockwise.
Before getting started
– Read all safety notes and instructions in the
chapter “For your safety“ on page GB-5.
– Set up and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in chapter “Start-up“ on page GB-22.

Improper handling of the appliance

The interior light must only be used
to illuminate the interior of the appli-
ance. It is not suitable for lighting a
room.
Switching on
The appliance is switched on as soon as the
mains plug is plugged in. The compressor
starts to work, the refrigerant flows through
the pipes and a quiet humming sound can
be heard.

• Use the temperature controller (1) and the
“Set” button (14) to set the desired cooling
temperature.
If the appliance makes worrying
noises, check the solid base and
