Cleaning the door seal
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The freezer door seal is sensitive to grease and oil;
these make the door seal porous and brittle.
• Use damp, clean cloths only.
• Do not use corrosive, abrasive, soda or acidic deter-
gents or sponges.
Check the door seal regularly for contamination and damage to
ensure that no warm air can get into the freezer.
1. Clean the door seal with a damp cloth.
2. Clamp a piece of paper between the freezer and freezer
door at various locations. The paper should be difficult to pull
through at all points.
3. If the seal is not positioned evenly all round, use a hairdryer
to carefully warm the seal at the corresponding points. Care-
fully pull the seal out a little with your fingers.
