Dishwasher operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety” from page EN-4, in
particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in chapter “Setup or under-work-
top installation and connection” on
page EN-11.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs.
Preparation
1. Open the tap completely.
2. Close the dishwasher door.
3. Press the button (1) to switch on the dis-
hwasher.
You will hear a signal tone and all LEDs will
illuminate briefly.
After a moment, the
ECO
programme LED
will light up.
Protecting the environment
– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, ener-
gy and water can be saved (see “Select
the dishwasher programme and start” on
page EN-25).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance generally
uses less energy and water than washing
by hand, provided you follow the instruc-
tions in the user manual.
Select the dishwasher
programme and start
1. Search for the appropriate dishwasher
programme with the help of the “program-
me table”, see page EN-24.

2. Press the
P
button (12) repeatedly until
the LED to the right of the desired pro-
gramme symbol lights up.
3. Press the button (13) to start the wash
programme.
The LED to the right of the programme
symbol will flash while the programme is
running.
4. Once the programme has finished, a si-
gnal tone will sound and the LED to the
right of the programme symbol will stop
flashing.
Now turn off the water tap and press the
button (1) to switch off the dishwasher.
5. Wait a little while before unloading the
dishes.
