Troubleshooting table
The dishwashing results are not satisfactory
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
There are residues
or streaks on the
dishes.
The rinse aid is incorrectly
dosed.
Adjust the dispensed dose (see “Amend
the rinse aid dosage” on page EN-15).
There is no dishwasher salt. Add dishwasher salt (see “Adding dish-
washer salt” on page EN-16).
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
Stir the dishwasher salt using the end of a
spoon or similar.
The dishes are not
completely clean.
There are food scraps
which are encrusted onto
the dishes.
Soak dirty dishes prior to washing the
dishes.
The dishes have not been
stacked optimally.
Stack the dishes in such a way that all
parts can be reached by the water jets
(see “Loading the dishwasher” on
page EN-17).
You have selected the
incorrect dishwashing
programme.
Select the correct dishwashing programme
(see “Programme table” on page EN-21).
The dishwasher detergent is
incorrectly dosed.
Use the correct dosage of dishwasher
detergent (see “Programme table” on
page EN-21).
The water pressure is too
low.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The spraying arm can not
rotate unhindered.
Ensure that no dishes are impeding the
motion of the spraying arm.
The nozzles on the spraying
arm are blocked/calcified.
Clean the nozzles (see “Checking
and cleaning the spraying arms” on
page EN-27).
Only one spraying arm is
active.
