Adding dishes
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam emitted when opening the
appliance door can cause scalding.
■
Maintain a sufficient distance from
the appliance door and do not hold
your head or upper body directly
above the open appliance door.
■
Keep children and pets away from
the appliance when opening the ap-
pliance door.
■
Make sure that children do not open
the appliance door during operation.
You can add more dishes even if the dish-
washing programme is already running.
In this case, the current dishwashing pro-
gramme should only have been running for
a short time, as only then can the additional
dishes be cleaned.

1. Press the button (5) in order to inter-
rupt the dishwashing programme.
2. Open the appliance door slightly and wait
until both spraying arms have come to a
standstill.
3. Slowly open the appliance door all the
way.
4. Add the dishes.
5. Close the appliance door.
6. Press the button once again.
After approx. 10 seconds the appliance
will continue the programme.
A beep will sound at regular intervals
while the dishwashing programme is
paused.
Key lock

The appliance buttons can be locked, e.g. for
childproofing purposes.
• To activate the key lock, press the but-
ton (25) and hold it down for approx.
3 seconds.
The buttons are now locked.
• To deactivate the key lock, press the
button (25) and hold it down for approx.
3 seconds.
The buttons are now unlocked.
