Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety” on page EN-4.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “Start-up” on
page EN-17.
Switching the appliance on
and off
Switching on
• Turn the temperature control dial (2) to a
position between “1” and “7”.
The interior light (1) comes on.
The appliance is switched on.
Switching off
• Turn the temperature control dial (2)
to “0”.
The interior lighting (1) goes out. The ap-
pliance is switched off.
If the appliance makes disturbing nois-
es after it is switched on, check that it
is in a stable position and correctly in-
stalled.

Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
could then cause a rise in temperature
inside the refrigerated area.

Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained. (see
“Intended use” on page EN-4)
If you set a lower temperature, you will
require greater refrigeration perfor-
mance. This increases energy con-
sumption.

• Use the temperature control dial (2) to
set the temperature.
When the temperature control dial is
turned to “0”, the compressor stops
running and the interior light goes out.
