Filling the appliance
• Combine the storage racks as shown in
the diagram on page EN-10 to achieve the
most efficient use of energy for your ap-
pliance.
• A temperature setting that is too high or
too low can reduce the shelf life of your
food. This leads to greater food waste.
• Set the temperature in the fridge to +6 °C
and fill the fridge in such a way that the
temperature conditions inside are opti-
mally utilised, guaranteeing optimal food
storage.
• The following tips show you how you can
store foods in your appliance to keep
them in the best possible condition over
the longest possible period. This will
mean that you avoid food waste:
– Remove all packaging before beginning
refrigeration, e.g. protective sheeting,
cardboard, etc.
– Place the bottles on the storage racks (4)
and (3) and ensure that the bottle tops
are facing the appliance door (2).
– Make sure that the bottles do not directly
touch the interior walls of the appliance
or the appliance door (2).
– Systematically fill the appliance so that
the beverage you want is easy to reach.
This prevents the appliance door from
being open for an unnecessarily long
time.
– Only store strong alcohol standing up-
right and tightly closed.
