Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in injury.

Before fi rst use, make sure
that the blending shaft has
been correctly put together
and locked in place.
■
Make sure that all parts
are undamaged before fi rst
use.
■
When using the appliance,
only hold the power unit.
■
Always disconnect the
blender from the supply if it
is left unattended and be-
fore assembling, disassem-
bling or cleaning.
■
Never operate the appli-
ance without an attach-
ment or with a damaged
attachment.
■
Always make sure that the
attachment has properly
clicked into place and that
it is securely attached to
the power unit before con-
necting the appliance to
the mains and starting it
up.
■
Do not touch the cutting
blades with bare fi ngers.
The blades are very sharp.
■
Keep fi ngers, hair, cloth-
ing and other objects away
from sharp and/or rotating
accessories so they do not
get caught.
■
Do not put hot food or liq-
uids above 65°C in the ap-
propriate container. There
is a risk of scalding. Advise
other users of the risks.

er to chop things that are not
food. The hand blender is not
suitable for making soap.
