Temperature controller
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The refrigerator may not work properly if it is exposed
to temperatures that are colder than the lower limit
of the temperature range for which it is designed for
longer periods.
• Note the temperature range for which the refrigerator
is designed.
• If necessary, place insulating plates.
• If necessary, adjust the temperature using the tem-
perature controller.
You can set the temperature in the refrigerator using the tempera-
ture controller
3
. The cooling power is continuously adjustable from
‘0’ to ‘7’. ‘7’ is the lowest temperature.
The ideal temperature for the refrigerator is +6 °C. The refrigerator
is designed for an ambient temperature between 16 °C and 38 °C.
The power consumption and the temperature in the refrigerator
can increase
– if the room temperature fluctuates up and/or down.
– depending on the selected location,
– if the refrigerator door is opened frequently or for a long time.
How to set the temperature:
• Set the temperature controller
3
to a medium setting of be-
tween ‘3’ and ‘4’. This setting is sufficient for normal ambient
temperatures if you do not open the refrigerator door too often
and always close it properly.
– To set a higher temperature, turn the temperature con-
troller
3
towards ‘0’.
– To set a lower temperature, turn the temperature control-
ler
3
towards ‘7’.
• Should the ambient temperature increase, adjust the tempera-
ture in the refrigerator (e.g. in summer towards ‘7’).
Switching off appliance
Switch off your appliance if you do not plan to use it for an extended
period of time.
1. Set the temperature controller
3
to ‘0’.
2. If the appliance is not used for a longer period of time, pull the
mains plug out of the socket.
3. Empty the appliance, defrost it and clean it.
4. Leave the door open slightly to avoid mould formation in the
interior.
