Cleaning the ice dispenser
Ice cubes can clog the ice dispenser (2) and
block the ice outlet (34).
• Remove clumped ice from the ice dis-
penser on a regular basis.
• Wipe away ice residue from the ice dis-
penser and outlet.
Replacing the water filter
After 150 days of uninterrupted operation, the
following signal: will appear on the display.
When this occurs, you must replace the water
filter.
After another 30 days pass, the signal will
begin to flash. If you have not already done
so, you must insert a new water filter now.

fi lter on our website or in the catalogue.
Inserting a new water filter
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et or switch off the fuse.
2. Stop the water supply.
3. Remove the water filter (41) from the wall
bracket.
4. Hold a vessel or towel under the water fil-
ter to catch any residual water that might
flow out.

5. Loosen the connection between the hose
coupling (40) and water filter (41). To do
this, push the connector ring (42) on the
hose coupling in the direction of the hose
coupling using a small slot screwdriver
while pulling off the hose coupling. Have
a second person assist you if necessary.
6. When connecting the new water filter,
please take note of the direction of water
flow. Insert the hose couplings (40) into
the new water filter and firmly press them
down.
7. Insert the new water filter into the wall
bracket.
8. Reattach the water supply and check
whether water leaks out. Repeat steps 2
to 8 as necessary.
9. Connect the mains plug to the socket or
switch on the fuse again.
Using the new water filter for the first
time
• Press and hold the (24) DISPENSER but-
ton for 3 seconds.
The signal will disappear and the appli-
ance will start a new 6-month cycle.
Replacing the water filter ahead of time
If you are replacing the water filter before the
6-month cycle is over, follow the instructions
for inserting a new water filter.
• Then press and hold the (24) DISPENS-
ER button for 3 seconds. Even if the
signal is not flashing, this step is still
necessary before the new water filter can
go into operation.
