Dangers when using a
blender
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the blender
may lead to injuries.
• Be careful when using the
sharp blades, emptying the
container and during cleaning.
• Before changing accessories
or additional parts which are
moving during operation, the
appliance must be switched
off and disconnected from the
mains.
• Be careful when pouring hot
liquid into the blender, as it
may suddenly vaporise and
escape as steam.
• Always disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply
when it is not in use and be-
fore assembling, disassem-
bling or cleaning.

Improper handling of the blender
may cause it to become damaged.
• Place the blender on an easily
accessible, level, dry and suffi-
ciently stable work surface. Do
not place the blender on the
edge of the work surface.
• Never put hot or boiling ingre-
dients in the smoothie cup.
• Do not attempt to knead dough
or puree potatoes.
• Never operate the blender
when empty.
• Avoid heat build-up by not
placing the blender directly
up against a wall, under cup-
boards, etc.
• Never place the blender on or
near hot surfaces (hotplates,
etc.).
• Ensure that the mains cord
does not come into contact
with hot parts.
• Never expose the blender to
high temperatures (heaters,
etc.) or to the elements (rain,
etc.). Never add liquid to the
motor block of the blender.
