Cleaning and maintenance

Improper use of the appli-

Always pull the mains plug
out of the socket prior to
cleaning and maintenance.

Never immerse the appli-
ance in water to clean it.

Do not use a steam cleaner
to clean it.

The appliance will become
very hot during operation.
Touching the hot appliance
can lead to burns.

Prior to cleaning the appli-
ance, allow it to cool for at
least 30 minutes.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper cleaning can cause
short-circuiting and damage
the appliance.

Never put the appliance in
a dishwasher.
Improper use of cleaning
products or cleaning utensils
can scratch the surfaces or
cause chemical damage.
■
Do not use any sol-
vent-based, abrasive or
scouring cleaners (e.g. oven
or grill spray) or cleaning
utensils such as scouring
pads or similar.
1. Disconnect the mains plug
from the socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool off
completely.
3. Wipe the appliance surface
off with a lightly moistened
cloth. Use a small amount of
washing-up liquid for stubborn
soiling.
4. Wash the inside of the appli-
ance with normal washing-up
water and then thoroughly
rinse with fresh water.
5. The best way to remove burnt-
on food residues in the frying
basket (d) is to soak the bas-
ket in warm soapy water for 10
minutes.
You can also clean the tray
(c) and frying basket (d) in the
dishwasher.
6. Thoroughly dry all parts after
cleaning.
