13. Once the doors open and close correct-
ly, screw the refrigerating appliance to
the built-in cabinet. To do so, use 3 short
screws (24) at the top and the two long
screws (23) at the bottom.

14. With the refrigerating appliance doors
open, press the sealing strip into the gap
between the cooling appliance and the
built-in cabinet.

15. Finally, screw the two mounting brackets
(27) between the upper and lower door
with the built-in cupboard. Use the short
screws (24) for this.
Installation is now complete.
Cleaning before use
To remove the odour that comes with all new
appliances, clean the appliance before using
it (see ‘Cleaning the fridge compartment’ on
page EN-18) and (see ‘Defrosting and cleaning
the freezer’ on page EN-19).
Commissioning the appliance
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
If the refrigerating appliance has been
transported horizontally, lubricant from
the compressor may make its way into
the cooling circuit.

If possible, do not tilt the refrigerat-
ing appliance horizontally.
■
After transporting the refrigerat-
ing appliance, leave it in its normal
position for approx. 2 hours before
switching it on. This allows the lubri-
cant enough time to fl ow back into
the compressor.
• Switch off the fuse for the mains socket to
which the refrigerator is connected.
When the door is open, the interior lighting
will now be switched on.
