Operation
Shelves and door shelves
The glass shelves and the door shelves can
be taken out and repositioned if necessary.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the diagram on page EN-4.
1. Lift the back of the door shelves to re-
move them.
2. Lift the door shelves upwards to remove
them.
Setting the temperature
CAUTION
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.
■
Always ensure the ambient tempera-
ture is kept within the specifi ed range
(see ‘Intended use’ on page EN-5).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
need a higher cooling performance.
This increases the energy consump-
tion.
Setting the temperature in the
fridge compartment
Ideally you need 2 refrigerator/freezer ther-
mometers to be able to check the refrigera-
tion output.
Place one
– above the upper vegetable drawers in the
fridge compartment; the correct tempera-
ture here is +6°C.
– in the freezer compartment; the ideal stor-
age temperature is at least -18°C.
