Risk of inhalation of particulate dust when chipper old timber,
as the chipping process may produce dust. Wear breathing
protection if chipping older timber.
Do not allow persons to operate machinery without full and
proper instruction in the use of the machine. Do not allow
person under 18 year’s age to operate the machinery.
Fuel is highly flammable, especially on hot surfaces. HANDLE
WITH CARE!
Never refuel while the Engine is running.
Never use fuel as a cleaning agent.
Risk of slipping. Take care when operating in the rain, or where
there is a risk of slipping while operating the chipper.
Never leave the engine running when unattended. Shut the
machine down even if unattended for a short period.
Risk of Burns. The equipment, especially the exhaust and
grinding head may become very hot. Do not touch!
Never wear loose-fitting clothes. Risk of entrapment!
Take care when moving the Chipper, when not attached to a
towing vehicle.
Risk of moving uncontrolled chipper crushing a person, child or
animal.
Only move by hand on a flat area (not a slope) and Chock
wheels once in place.
Operation of the equipment must not be performed by persons
under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medications or any
chemical substances capable of impairing the abilities of that
person. Should not be operated by anyone under 18 years of
age.
Continuous operation may result in exhaustion or stress to the
operator. Take frequent breaks and do not operate if you are
feeling tired.
