METHOD PROCEDURE

• Press 

Zero

. The display will show “-0.0-” when the meter is zeroed and ready for 

measurement.

 

 

• Remove the cuvette.
• Add one packet of 

HI93750B-0

 

Potassium Reagent B. Replace the 
plastic stopper and the cap. Shake 
gently for 1 minute.

• Insert the cuvette into the holder and ensure that the 

notch on the cap is positioned securely in the groove.

• Press

 Read

 and the display will show a 3 minutes 

countdown prior to the measurement. To skip the timer, 
press 

Read

 twice.

• After the 3 minutes countdown has passed, invert the 

cuvette 5 times to mix.

• Insert the cuvette into the holder and ensure that the 

notch on the cap is positioned securely in the groove.

• Press 

Read

 to start reading. The instrument displays the results in

 mg/L 

of

 

potassium (K).
