• Fill one cuvet with 10 mL of Red

Wine.

• Add 2 spoons of HI 93703-59

Charcoal to the cuvet.

• Cap the cuvet with the plastic

stopper 

 and mix vigorously

for 2 minutes.
Then wait for 3 minutes.

• Fold a filter disc twice as shown in

the figure.
Separate one side from the other
three to form a cone.

• Insert the folded filter disc in the

funnel.
Filter the treated wine into an
empty cuvet. This is the filtered
wine sample.
