Section 13:

Installing the Radio System

36

Step 5.

The switch should be mounted on the left side of the

fuselage, away from the exhaust of the engine. 

Hint:

Use the switch plate as a template.

Look inside the fuselage and pick a location to mount the switch
in the opening of the fuselage side doubler. (Mount only through
the fuselage sheeting, not through the ply doubler.) 

Step 6.

Using a 1/16" drill bit, drill two mounting holes for the

switch as marked. Using a hobby knife, carefully cut out the
opening for the switch between the screw holes.

Step 7.

Reposition the switch plate as shown and place the

switch on the inside of the fuselage. Using the two screws 
supplied with the switch, attach the switch to the fuselage. 
Plug in the switch to the receiver/receiver battery.
