Section 12: Mounting the Vertical Stabilizer

Step 12

Slide the fin back onto the fuselage. Align the ruler
on the lines drawn on the rudder. Extend the two
lines onto the fuselage.

Step 13

Measure and mark a vertical line 1" in front of the rudder
hinge line.

Step 14

Drill two 1/16" holes at the locations marked in
the previous step. These holes do not need to
extend through the fuselage.

Step 15

Secure the fin using two #2 x 1/2" sheet metal screws.
