Fault - Leakage
Possible cause
Measures
Outflow of fluid at the
leakage outlet (valve closed
and leakage CIP inactive).

Form seal in upper or lower seat
area is defective.
•
Upper or lower valve disk is not
completely closed
•
Check the outflowing liquid and
assign to the upper or lower pipe.
Check the corresponding sealing
seat or change the form seal.
•

Outflow of fluid at the
leakage outlet (valve opened
and leakage CIP inactive).
•
O-ring in the leakage chamber is
defective.
•
Check the sealing seat or change
the seal.
Outflow of fluid at the
overflow pipe of the upper
or lower flushing chamber
•
The upper or lower lip sealing is
defective or incorrectly installed.
•
Check the corresponding sealing
seat or change the seal.
Outflow of fluid at the upper
or lower venting bore hole.
•
Upper or lower flushing chamber
sealing defective
•
Change the quad-ring.

Fault – Function
Possible cause
Measures
Single-seat lifting (above or
below) does not close.
•
The solenoid valves are defective
or the electrical control is faulty or
is not active.
•
A solid body is lodged between the
sealing areas.
•
The actuator spring is blocked or
broken.
•
Check the solenoid valves and the
control.
•
Clean the valve housing and the
seat.
•
Change the drive.
The defective drive should be
repaired by the manufacturer.
The flushing of the leakage
chamber or the flush
chambers is insufficient.
•
The volume or pressure of the
flushing liquid is insufficient.
•
The supply valve does not open.
•
The pre-installed cycle times are
insufficient.
•
Carry out a corresponding
inspection and if necessary change
the settings.
