OPERATION & ADJUSTMENTS
FLEXIBILITY
Rake Arm
The rake has been designed that when the
rake is lower on level ground, the pins of
the cylinder are centered in the bracket of
the rake. This allows the rake beams to flex
up and down without the hydraulic cylinder
restricting its motion. The rake arms are also
on a pivot to allow oscillation for additional
floatation.
ONE-SIDED RAKING
Raking with one side can be accomplished by closing
either of the transport lock valves when the rake is in
the transport position. When the tractor remote hydraulic
valve is operated, only the rake arm with the hydraulic
transport lock valve in the open position will lower into the
raking position. The rake arm with the hydraulic transport
lock valve in the closed position will stay in the transport
position.
Rake Beam
The rake beam is allowed to oscillate through the
main arm pin for added floatation.
Rake Wheel
Rake wheel oscillation is achieved through the wheel arm mount
bolt with the slotted style hole.
