A disposable HEPA H13 cartridge filter with activated charcoal is located in the rear of the unit.

This filter should be changed on a regular basis. Suggested filter replacement is every 8 –
12 months, possibly sooner based upon heavy use. The part number to order is 42-HCF
for one.

ALWAYS WEAR APPROPRIATE PPE WHEN ACCESSING AND REPLACING FILTERS.

Make sure the unit is turned off and unplugged when performing filter maintenance.

To access this HEPA cartridge filter, remove the 11 Phillips head screws that hold the side
panel on the unit.

Once the side is off, slowly, and carefully remove the used filter and dispose of it according
to CDC guidelines as it may contain contaminants.
e.
Slide a new 42-HCF securely into place and reinstall the side door making certain that all
screws are secure.

Warranty period is 1 year for the 42ESU Extraoral Suction Unit. Handler Mfg., LLC warrants, to the original purchaser only, that its
products will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the applicable period of time indicated above following the purchase
date. During the warranty period, the defective product will be repaired or replaced at Handler’s discretion without charge, EXW
Handler. This warranty does not cover damage caused in transit or by accident, misuse, or ordinary wear.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND

All warranty repairs must be done at Handler’s factory. We will not pay any shipping or transportation charges. Any product sent back
for repair must be authorized by Handler with a Handler issued RMA number written on the box of the product being sent back for
repair. If not, the product will be refused at the loading dock.
