Replacing the swivel wheel
Replace the swivel wheel as follows:
•
Support the wheelchair so that the wheel is off the
ground.
•
Loosen the shaft (A) and the locking nut (B) using
two open-ended spanners with a width of 13 mm.
•
Hold the wheel (C) tight and remove the shaft
with the washers.
•
Take the wheel out of the fork.
Fit the new wheel in the reverse order.
The locking nut must be tightened correctly:
the screw thread of the shaft must be clearly
visible through the locking ring. If the wheel
is not placed properly, this can lead to very
dangerous situations for the user.
After fitting the wheel, remove the support from under the
wheelchair: the wheelchair is ready for use.

Replacing the swivel wheel
Replace the swivel wheel as follows:
•
Support the wheelchair so that the swivel wheel is
off the ground.
•
Remove the plastic cover cap (A) using a
screwdriver.
•
Loosen nut (B) using a box spanner with a width
of 17 mm.
•
Remove the complete swivel wheel (C) from the
ball head.
Watch the washers under the nut and make sure
that they are not lost.
Fit the (new) swivel wheel in the reverse order.
