Controller ’swing-away’
Height
1. Loosen the setscrew (A) a few
turns with a 3 mm Allen key.
2. Slide the controller with the swing-
away mechanism in the desired
position.
3. Tighten the setscrew securely.
Depth
1. Loosen the setscrew (B) a few
turns with a 4mm Allen key.
2. Slide the controller in the desired
position.
3. Tighten the setscrew securely.
Anti-tip brackets (option)
For extra safety anti-tip brackets are
available for the Ibis XP models.
These can be put in two different
positions.
The anti-tip brackets will limit the
obstacle height that can be taken with
the wheelchair, see figure.
With low anti-tip brackets the
wheelchair will tilt less in case of
instability.
1. Loosen the bolts (B).
2. Put the anti-tip brackets in the
desired position.
3. Tighten the bolts (B) securely.
After adjusting the anti-tip brackets
always check if they work properly
by tilting the wheelchair forward of
backward in a safe manner until the
anti-tip brackets touch the ground.
