Never put the wheelchair in the
Drive position when you are
parked on a slope. When the
wheelchair is parked on a slope
that is too steep, it can start
moving down the slope.
•
After pushing, the free wheel
lever should immediately be
returned to the Drive position.
•
The free wheel lever should only
be put in the Push position if the
wheelchair is to be pushed. In
the Drive position the automatic
parking brake is activated.
3.4 Switching
on
the
wheelchair
To switch on the wheelchair, push the
on/off key (A).
When an electronics error is
detected, the battery indicator will
start flashing. The electronics are
blocked.
3.5 Driving
•
As a wheelchair user you could
be vulnerable in traffic. When
travelling in or across a road,
keep in mind that other traffic
participants may not always
notice you. Keep to the
applicable traffic regulations.
•
Avoid out-of-the way routes, so
that help can be on its way
quickly when needed.
Driving (Shark)
1. Switch on the wheelchair.
2. Use the speed control (B) to select
the desired speed.
3. Slowly
push
the joystick in the
desired driving direction. The
further you push the joystick, the
faster you will drive.
Driving (Shark lights and Shark
seats-lights)
1. Switch on the wheelchair.
2. Use the speed control (F) to select
the desired speed.
3. Slowly
push
the joystick in the
desired driving direction. The
further you push the joystick, the
faster you will drive.
