SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
Check that the amount of fuel in the suction tank is greater than the amount to be pumped.
Check that the tank to be filled holds the volume to be pumped.
Never run the pump when dry as this could seriously damage the pump's component parts.
Check that hoses and couplings are in perfect condition. Discharges of diesel fuel can seriously
damage the environment and human health.
Never touch the pump if you are barefoot, have wet hands, or if your body is wet.
Prolonged skin contact with diesel fuel can cause injuries. Always wear gloves and safety glasses.
Make sure the pump is shut off before any maintenance is performed on it.
Do not move the pump when it is running.
The pump's electrical connection must not come into contact with water or other liquids.
Do not use the pump:

Electrical connection
Check that the power outlet can supply sufficient current to the pump before connecting it. The power
source must be fitted with a residual current device. If the pump has a power cord and plug, this must be
connected to an earthed mains outlet. The supplied plug must not be replaced.
Function check
Before installation, run the pump for a short period without any form of liquid to ensure correct operation.
Check the cooling fan at the rear of the pump. Make sure that it rotates in the direction of the arrow (the
arrow on the pump).
