If the clamps are in the correct position on one battery but incorrect on the other, the lamp
on the incorrect side will light up red, and the lamp on the correct side will light up green
The surge protection will correct this automatically and then release the current

If the clamps are incorrectly connected to both batteries, both lamps will light up red but the
current will be released anyway as the cables are connected to the same poles on both sides
STARTING
Note:
• Starting attempts should not last longer than 6 seconds
• Wait at least 5 seconds between each starting attempt
• If the car does not start despite these attempts with the jumper cables, you should contact
your garage
• Ensure the cables cannot come into contact with any moving parts
• Start the car with the charged battery Let it idle for a minute or so

Turn off the engine of the car with the charged battery

Disconnect the cables in the reverse order to how you connected them Take care that you do
not come into contact with any moving parts when disconnecting the cables
