OPERATION
NB
• The vehicle 12-volt battery should be fully charged in order to achieve the best effect when using
the compressor. If the battery power level is low, the compressor will not be able to operate
optimally.
• In order to achieve the best results, it is recommended that the compressor is used whilst the
vehicle engine is running. Use outdoors or in an open, well-ventilated area and not in an
enclosed location such as a garage as this may result in personal injury or fatal suffocation
(carbon monoxide poisoning). Always ensure there is good ventilation. Although most vehicle
12-volt outlets can be used without the ignition being switched on, some vehicles do require the
electrical system to be activated.
INFLATING TYRES
1.
Securely connect the screw valve to the tyre air valve. Screw clockwise until it is firmly secure.
2.
Connect the cigarette lighter plug to the 12-volt outlet in the vehicle.
3.
Start the engine.
4.
Turn the power switch to the ON position to start the compressor. Check the pressure on the
meter in order to achieve the desired pressure.
5.
Once the desired pressure has been reached, turn off the compressor by turning the power
switch to the OFF position.
6.
Disconnect the air hose from the tyre by turning the screw valve anti-clockwise.
7.
Disconnect the cigarette lighter plug from the 12-volt outlet and turn off the engine.
8.
Store the compressor and its accessories in the case so that you do not lose any parts.
INFLATING BALLS, AIR MATTRESSES, INFLATABLE BOATS, ETC.
