Installing the Light Kit
Attach the light plate to the light plate holder
by feeding the wires (black and white) out of
the fans through the hole of light plate and then
screw it onto the light plate holder with 3
screws, be sure to slide the light plate to the 2
screws on the light plate holder and rotate the
light plate clockwise until tight.
Locate two single white and black wires in the
light plate. Make the polarized plug connec-
tions:
-White to white
-Black to black
Install two 13 Watt compact fluorescent bulbs
(included).
Raise glass shade up against bottom of fan
housing and secure with three screws provided.
Restore power and your light kit is ready for
operation.

If the light kit does not work, turn off the
electricity and lower either canopy or decora-
tive housing on your ceiling fan to make sure
the blue wire is connected to the black house-
hold wire.

LIGHT BULBS HAVE NO WARRANTY; CAN BE
PURCHASED AT ANY HOME DEPOT STORE.
CAUTION
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION, DISCON-
NECT THE POWER BY TURNING OFF THE
CIRCUIT BREAKER OR REMOVING THE FUSE
AT FUSE BOX. TURNING POWER OFF USING
THE FAN SWITCH IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO
PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK.
