ou may need a longer downrod to maintain proper
blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling.
The maximum angle allowable is 18° away from horizontal.
Before making the electrical connections, engage one of the
screw holes at the top of the ceiling canopy with the hook on
the mounting plate (Figure 7).

Pass the 120-volt supply wires through the center hole in
the mounting plate as shown in Figure 6.

Outlet Box
REMEMBER to turn off the power. Follow the steps below to hang
Securely tighten the two mounting screws. Carefully lift
the fan assembly up to the mounting plate.
Attached the mounting plate on the electrical box by
sliding the mounting plate over the screws provided with
the outlet box. Make sure the mounting plate is level. You
may need to insert additional washers (not provided)
between the outlet box and the mounting plate to make
it level. Note that the flat side of the plate is to be toward
the electrical box.
