Assembly - Hanging the Fan

Attaching the fan to the electrical
box

Hanging the fan

Pass the 120-Volt supply wires through the center hole in the
mounting bracket (A).

Install the ceiling mounting plate on the outlet box by sliding the
mounting bracket (A) over the two screws (MM) provided with the
outlet box. If necessary, use leveling washers (not included) be-
tween the mounting bracket (A) and the outlet box. Note that the
flat side of the mounting bracket (A) is toward the outlet box.

Securely tighten the two mounting screws (MM).

Carefully lift the fan-motor assembly (D) up to the mounting
bracket (A).

Seat the hanger ball portion of the ball/downrod assembly (B)
in the slide-on mounting bracket (A) socket. Ensure that the
tab on the slide-on mounting bracket (A) socket is properly
seated in the groove in the hanger ball. If using close-to-ceiling
mounting, hang the fan on the hook provided by utilizing one of
the holes at the outer rim of the ceiling canopy (C).

Assembly - Close-to-Ceiling Mount

Remove three of the six screws and lock washers (LL) (every
other one) securing the motor collar (M) to the top of the fan-
motor housing (D).

Place the rubber gasket (EE) over the remaining three screws,
route the wires exiting the top of the fan-motor housing
through the canopy ring (JJ) (make sure the slot opening are
on top), then proceed to place the ceiling canopy (C) over the
collar at the top of the fan-motor housing (D).

Align the mounting holes with the holes in the fan-motor
housing (D) and fasten, using the three screws and lock-
washers (LL) removed previously. Tighten the mounting

Remove the mounting bracket (A) from the canopy (C) by
loosening the two canopy screws (HH) located in the “L shaped
slots”.

Remove and save the two canopy screws (II) in the round holes.
This will enable you to remove the mounting bracket (A).

Remove the decorative canopy bottom cover (KK) from the
canopy (C) by depressing the three studs.
