Assembly — Installing the Light Kit
CAUTION:
Before starting the installation, disconnect the
power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not
sufficient to prevent electric shock.

Mount the glass shades (J) to the light sockets by
partially unscrewing the three thumbscrews (FF) on
each glass holder, inserting the glass shades (J), and
gently and evenly tightening the thumbscrews (FF) by
hand to the glass shades (J). Do not overtighten.
□
Install three 60 watt medium base bulbs (not
included).

Mounting the glass shades and
installing the light bulbs
□
Remove the three light kit mounting screws (QQ) from
the light kit (I) and keep these screws.
□
While holding the light kit (I) under your fan motor
assembly (F), locate two single white and blue wires
in the switch housing labeled "FOR LIGHT". Make the
polarized plug connections:
- White to white
- Blue to black

Carefully push all wires back into the switch housing.
□
Attach the light kit (I) by aligning the three holes in
the switch housing with the three screw holes in the
light kit and the reverse switch on the side of the
switch housing.
□
Secure the light kit (I) using the three light kit
mounting screws (QQ).
□
Tighten the three screws securely to prevent the light
kit (I) from vibrating loose.
