IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use Handle.
3. To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or appliance in
any liquid.
4. Close supervision is needed when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without
supervision.
6. Children should not play with the appliance.
7. Unlug from power outlet before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking
off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
8. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is
dropped in anyway. Contact our customer service team for futher advice. Or contact
a registered electrician for assistance.
9. The use of accessory attachments, not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may cause hazards.
10. Do not use outdoors, for household use ONLY.
11. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
12. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance that contains hot oil or
other hot substances.
14. To disconnect, remove plug from power outlet.
15. Do not use appliance for anything else other than it’s intended use.
16. If the cable or cord is damaged, it will need to be replaced or repaired by a serviced
electrician.
ATTENTION: WHEN USING FOR THE FIRST TIME, SLIGHT
SMOKE OR ODOUR MAY BE EMITTED. THIS IS
NORMAL AND WILL SOON SUBSIDE. ALLOW
FOR SUFFICIENT VENTILATION AROUND THE
SANDWICH TOASTER.
