Using the Coffee Brewer
(cont.)
Use No. 4 disposable paper cone filters. Ensure the filter is fully inserted into the filter
holder. The coffee filter should be folded along the crimp on the sides and the bottom
for proper placement. This will prevent the filter from collapsing during brewing. For
each cup of coffee being made, use one level tablespoon of grounds. Use slightly less
grounds for decaf or flavored coffees—these blends can cause overflow if too much is
used.
TIP:
If using freshly ground coffee, a fine to medium grind will yield best results.
10
NOTE:
The filter holder will only fit one way into the filter holder well. The plastic handle
should fold towards you when the filter holder is placed properly in the filter holder well.
When setting coffee strength, the “Regular” setting will make standard-strength coffee.
To make stronger coffee, press the
BREW STRENGTH
button to select desired setting.
Over time, you will be able to adjust the desired brew strength based on personal
preference.
