The “Schuko” Car DC/AC Inverter offers maximum reliability and safety in all situations. Before using the
device for the fi rst time, familiarise yourself thoroughly with the following operating and safety instructions
and follow them at all times for your own safety. They are intended to prevent health risks, damage to the
inverter, connected devices and your vehicle.

Before starting
1.
Before starting, please check the power consumption of the device you want to connect.
2.
The energy requirement is generally specifi ed in watts or VA on the devices. If in doubt, consult
the operating manual of the device or ask the manufacturer.
3.
Ensure that the power consumption of the device does not exceed the constant capacity of the
inverter.
4.
The inverter switches off automatically when overloaded. The inverter can be used again as usual
after the overload is removed.
Connection and handling the inverter
1.
Ensure that the on/off switch is set to position 0 (off).
2.
Insert the cigarette lighter plug into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. Ensure that the
plug is securely in place and that the cable is free from strain.
3.
Switch on the inverter (move the on/off switch to position I).
Caution!
Transfer resistances can cause voltage drops which interfere with the function of the device and/or can
cause the contacts to spark or heat up. You must therefore always ensure that the plug and socket contacts
are smooth and clean, and that they fi t securely without play.
