4.2.2 Shred paper and plastic cards
■
Insert the paper or the plastic card into the centre of the feed shaft
(1). The cutting rollers are switched on automatically.
■
Let go of the paper or plastic card. After shredding is completed,
the device switches itself off again and, after a brief period, swit-
ches to power saving mode.
NOTE!
►
Empty the bin frequently in order to prevent damage to the
device.
4.2.3 Shredding CDs, DVDs, BluRay discs and plastic
cards
■
Insert the CD, DVD, Blu-ray disc or plastic card into the centre of
the feed shaft (4). The cutting rollers are switched on automatically.
■
Let go of the CD, DVD, Blu-ray disc or plastic card. After shredding
is completed, the device switches itself off again and, after a brief
period, switches to power saving mode.
4.2.4 Forwards and reverse modes
NOTE!
►
These modes serve to remove any blockages in the cutter
system.
■
Press the REV button (8) and hold it for 2-3 seconds. The rollers of
the paper cutting system rotate in the opposite direction.
Press the FWD (7) and REV (8) buttons in alternation, approxi-
mately three times each.
■
Switch off the device and remove the jammed paper or plastic card
from the feed shaft (1).
NOTE!
►
Forwards mode can be used when the material to be cut
was not completely drawn in because it was not detected by
the sensor. This can occur particularly for smaller pieces of
paper.
►
Press and hold the FWD button (7) until the paper to be
shredded is completely drawn in.
