4. Getting Started
•
The headset is equipped with a rechargeable battery. The battery
must be fully charged before using the device for the first time.
•
Ensure that the headset is switched off before charging it.
•
Begin charging by connecting the
USB plug
(11) of the
charging
cradle
(8) to a suitable USB connection, for example, on a PC/
notebook, or to a suitable USB power supply unit. Then place the
headset in the charging cradle.
•
The
status LED
(3) lights up constantly in red during the charging
process.
•
Charging the battery fully may take up to 2 hours.
Warning
Do not use the headset while it is charging.
•
When the battery is fully charged, the
status LED
(3) is lit white.
•
Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.
Note
If you have not used the item for a few month, it may take 15-30
minutes for the
status LED
(3) to red when charging.
5.Operation
Switching the headset on/off
•
Turn On:
Switch on the headset using the
on/off switch
(1). A voice says,
‘Power on’ and the
LED indicator
(3) flashes white.
•
Turn Off:
Switch off the headset using the
on/off switch
(1). The
LED
indicator
(3) briefly lights up white and a voice says, ‘Power off’.
The first time the device is turned on, pairing is automatically started
– see
5.1

pairing.

-capable terminal device is on

is activated.
