13.5 Software updates
We are constantly developing new software features
and improvements for our radios to fix problems, add
functionality, etc.
We recommend that you keep your radio’s software up to
date.
You can find information on performing an update
separately on the enclosed sheet and/or you can download
it as a PDF at www.hama.com.

To access the radio software information, proceed as
follows:

13.7 Backlight
Activate brightness sensor
•
Move the sliding switch (18) to the ON position.
•
The brightness of the display is now automatically
adjusted according tothe ambient brightness.
Deactivate brightness sensor
•
Move the sliding switch (18) to the OFF position.
The backlight can be configured separately for each
operating mode (playback mode, standby mode and
snooze mode).
•
Proceed as follows:

Select the different brightness levels for the operating
modes Power on and Slumber mode.
•
For Standby mode, you can also choose a brightness
level for the backlight when the radio is in standby.
•
Choose a time interval under Timeout. When the radio is
in standby, press any button (apart from [volume -/+] /
[ ]) to illuminate the display at the brightness level set
for that operating mode for the selected interval of time.
•
If you press [alarm], the display lights up, and you can
also – as described in 11.3 Activating/deactivating the
alarm in Standby mode – display and set the current
snooze setting.
•
Alternatively, press [ ] on the remote control to directly
adjust the backlight setting for the current operating
mode.
13.8 AUX: Auto standby
In Aux in (Auxiliary input) operating mode, the radio
switches to standby mode after 15 minutes by default.
14. Wall mounting
Note
•
Ensure that the mount you have chosen can carry a
load of at least 2.0 kg.
•
Follow the directions and safety notes in the
mounting bracket documentation.
•
With the correct mounting bracket (such as Hama item
no. 00118031), you can mount the radio to the wall.
•
When doing so, use the mounting holes (20) on the rear
of the radio.
