5. Handling and Operation
5.1 Instructions for use
ˆ Always wait for a lamination process to Snish before starting the
next.
5.2 Switching on the device
‹ Press the on/off switch

to switch on the device.
‹ The device automatically heats to the correct temperature for la-
minating Slms with a thickness of •É #m. The ready lamp (ž) turns
green as soon as the device is ready.
5.3 Lamination
ˆ Place the document to be laminated in the appropriate pouch (see
Sgure).
ˆ Insert the Slm pouch into the front opening of the device (4). 5ake
sure that the sealed end is inserted Srst.
NOTE
 Film pouches of all sizes should be inserted at the centre of
the front opening so that they pass through the sensor.
‹ The document is returned at the rear (5).
‹ If an item has not been fully laminated, repeat the Srst steps.
CAUTION!
 Laminated items coming out of the device may be too hot to
touch.
NOTE
 The laminated sheet is hot and can be bent easily. Place the
item on a Qat surface and leave to cool so that it does not
curl at the edges.
