Installation on Windows 2000 with service pack 4
Ensure that your user account has administration privi-
leges for Windows 2000, otherwise the driver installati-
on may not be successful.
Note:
We highly recommend that Window 2000 users
install service pack 4 to benefi t from enhancements and
improved functionality.
No driver is needed if service pack 4 is properly instal-
led, as there is already one included in the service pack.
After Windows 2000 has started up completely, the
New
Hardware Wizard
automatically detects and installs the
Hama USB 2.0 PCI card
.
You can check whether the controller has been installed
successfully by selecting
Start -> Settings -> Control
Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager
. The
following must appear without a yellow exclamation
mark.
