Before sending the device to customer service, use the following table to check whether
you can remedy the problem yourself .

Ensure that the remote control
is not too far away from the
device .
Batteries empty
Change the batteries in the
remote control; pay attention to
correct polarity when inserting
the new batteries!
No picture is displayed
on the TV screen
Cable not connected cor-
rectly
Ensure that the interface cable
is properly connected to the
correct output or input of the
device and the correct input of
the TV device .
Wrong input signal selected
for the television
Switch your television to the
correct AV input .
You have set an excessive-
ly high output resolution .
Change the output resolution .
No sound can be heard .
Volume set to 0 .
Increase the volume of the
device or the TV device .
Sound output has been
switched off .
Switch sound output on .
Storage
If you do not intend to use the device for a longer period of time, switch off the device,
disconnect it from the power supply and keep it in a clean and dry location without direct
exposure to sunlight . Remove the batteries from the remote control .
