Detail view "Wi-Fi Protected Setup"
The detail view "Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)" allows quick con-
nection to routers or access points that support the rapid setup of
connections using the WPS function .
Two methods of establishing a connection are supported:
PIN method

Press button configuration method
■
PIN method (PIN)
With the PIN method, the eight-digit PIN code shown in blue has to
be entered in the WPS configuration of the routers or access point.
Start the PIN method by clicking the button "PIN method (PIN)" .
In the subsequent query for the selection of a given router, click
"No" .
Enter the eight-digit PIN code during the WPS configuration of
the router or access point .
The connection is automatically set up as soon as a router or access
point with the entered PIN code is found .
NOTE
If the name of the router or access point is known, it can be

preselected from the list of WPS-compatible devices .
