• The product is intended for private, non-
commercial use only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and
overheating, and only use it in a dry environment.
• Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of
the reach of children!
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to
any major shocks.
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if
it becomes damaged.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately
according to locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.
Warning – Batteries
• Always choose the battery size and grade that
best suits the intended purpose. Keep these
operating instructions in a safe place for future
reference, as they provide information about
choosing the right battery.
• Replace all the batteries in a set at the same
time.
• Ensure that the batteries are inserted the right
way around and that polarity (+ and -markings)
is observed.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a
fi
re.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not allow children to change batteries
without supervision.
• Remove the batteries from products that are
not being used for an extended period (unless
these are being kept ready for an emergency).
• Immediately remove and dispose of dead
batteries from the product.
3. Getting Started and Operation
3.1 Inserting/changing batteries
• Make sure that the product is switched off (on/off
switch to OFF)
• Open the battery compartment on the bottom of
the candle.
• Insert 3 AAA batteries in the correct direction.
• Close the battery compartment. The battery
compartment cover must audibly click into place.
3.2 Switching on and timer

Do not place near heat sources (e.g. ovens,
heaters, stoves, open

replaces, heat-emitting
light sources, direct sunlight, etc.).
• Set the on/off switch on the bottom of the candle
to 4H or 8H. This will light the candle for either
4 or 8 hours. The candle shuts off automatically
after the selected duration and switches on again
the next day (Example: switching on 4H at 18:00 -
candle lights up after switching on every day from
18:00 for 4 hours).
• Place the candle on an even and non-slip surface.
• The LED

ickering is not a defect; it imitates the
brightness
fl
uctuations of natural candle light.
• To switch off, set the on/off switch to the centre
position OFF.
